• Being new to faith and not knowing where to start
• Having questions about the Bible
• Understanding salvation

• Feeling spiritually stagnant and help dig deeper with spiritual disciplines
If you are asking, “What does it mean to follow Jesus?” or “How do I grow spiritually?” — LifeWalks is for you.
We understand you may have questions. So have others. Browse some of our most common questions to help you take your next step!
We ask that you:
• Show up to scheduled meetings
• Communicate clearly if you cannot attend
• Be honest about where you are
• Put in effort between meetings
• Respect your mentor’s time and boundaries
LifeWalks works best when both people are committed. Repeated no-shows, “ghosting”, or lack of communication may result in the mentorship relationship being paused or ended. We believe growth requires consistency.
No. You are not required to be a believer to participate. LifeWalks is a faith-based ministry, and our mentors are followers of Jesus. Faith and biblical wisdom are at the core of our hearts. All you need to do is simply be open to growth and willing to show up.
You can expect your mentor to:
• Show up consistently
• Listen without judgment
• Offer encouragement and accountability
• Help you set realistic goals
• Speak honestly with care
• Maintain appropriate boundaries & confidentiality
Mentors are volunteers who give their time outside of work and family responsibilities. They are not licensed counselors, financial advisors, or therapists, but they are trained to walk with you faithfully.
LifeWalks is for anyone who wants to grow, whether you’re struggling, learning, or simply seeking a meaningful connection.
Most mentors & mentees meet:
• Once a week, every other week, or even monthly
• Expect about 60–90 minutes per meeting
The exact schedule will be determined together, but a regular rhythm is important.
